NEKTON-Lori is a balanced complete feed for all species of parrot that largely feed off natural liquid food in the form of flower nectar, plant sap and pollen. The composition of NEKTON-Lori's most high-quality ingredients is strictly oriented toward natural parameters. Furthermore, NEKTON-Lori takes into account the special structure of these birds' digestive tracts, broken down proteins (present as amino acids) and focuses on the direct availability of easy to digest carbohydrates. An optimum mixture is the results of over 100 individual components supplemented by specific fatty acids and enriched with all essential substances (vitamins, trace elements) as well as minerals and major elements. No other feed has to be supplied.
No other vitamin compound should be administered whilst using NEKTON-Lori.
Supplementation with pieces of fruit and vegetable is possible without any problems, also so that "gnawing" and activity are not neglected. Nutritional requirements are completely fulfilled by NEKTON-Lori.
As a result of the high protein content as well as the high ambient temperature, it should be noted that the feed becomes acidified after a certain time. This happens faster, the higher the initial microbial content of the equipment and feeders used to prepare the feed. Therefore, it is of great importance that intensive hygiene measures are carried out continuously to reduce the number of germs at the feeding.
Feeding bowls and any equipment or bathing bowls, etc. that come into contact with the food during preparation should be disinfected.
Do not use a mixer or whisk to mix the food, as the vitamins can be mechanically damaged in this way. Only use treated, clean water! Dosage 10 g (1 measuring spoon) of NEKTON-Lori in 100 ml of lukewarm (25°C) water. Only serve the amount of nutrient solution that your bird ingests in one day.
Small and sensitive species of lorikeet (e.g. plum-faced lorikeet) and butterflies, that only ingest nectar, should be served our special NEKTON-Nektar-Plus. A measuring spoon is attached to each bottle of NEKTON-Lori. 10g of NEKTON-Lori corresponds to one measuring spoon.

39,600 IU vitamin A, 1,998 IU vitamin D3, 40 mg vitamin E, 24 mg vitamin B1 (thiamine mononitrate), 26 mg vitamin B2 (riboflavin), 20 mg pantothenic acid (calcium-D pantothenate), 60 mg niacinamide, 17 mg vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), 1.3 mg folic acid, 2,340 μg vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamine), 200 mg vitamin C (ascorbic acid), 8 mg vitamin K3 (menadione-sodiumbisulfit), 10,230 μg biotin, 100 mg inositol, 100 mg choline Chloride, 36 mg iron (ferrous(II)-sulfate, monohydrate) 9 mg copper (cupric(II)-sulfate, pentahydrate), 5 mg zinc (zinc sulfate, monohydrate) 8 mg manganese (manganese(II)-sulfate).
Technological additive:
Sorbic acid, silicic acid (precipitated and dried).
Feeding recommendation
In Gram
10 g NEKTON-LORI to 100 ml (1/3 oz to 1/5 pint) lukewarm (30°C) water.
In Millilitre
20 ml NEKTON-LORI to 100 ml lukewarm (30°C) water.
As you can see the concentrated form of NEKTON-LORI means a little goes a long way.
Please do not use a mixer or whisk when mixing NEKTON-Lori, as this will mechanically destroy some of the vitamins and thus adversely affect the vitamin ratio. The finished feed solution is simply poured into feeding containers and offered to the lorikeets.

Storage:
NEKTON-Lori should be stored dry and out of sunlight, between 15° and 25°C.
DO NOT STORE IN THE FRIDGE!!!
Keep away from children. Use within 3 months after opening.
Recommendation:
Replace the food daily, disinfect feeding utensils and equipment regularly, and offer only as much as the pet will consume within a day to ensure hygienic feeding conditions.
If the water is contaminated, we recommend boiling it before use to avoid any risk to your pet’s health.
